Delta Dental of Minnesota Responsive Grant Program
Delta Dental of Minnesota believes that philanthropic giving improves lives and enhances our community. We know that when we invest in outstanding service, innovation and education, we build stronger communities, healthier individuals, and brighter futures for all of Minnesota. That’s why we are a leader in corporate philanthropy.
Delta Dental of Minnesota’s mission is to improve overall health, through oral health, for all people. Its philanthropic efforts are focused on programs that promote overall health through increased access to oral health and on initiatives that present innovative solutions to the challenges of healthy living.
Delta Dental of Minnesota is an independent, nonprofit oral health service plan that helps ensure access to affordable dental care. Our range of giving is $2,000 to $50,000. Each year, we grant about $475,000 to organizations and programs that work to improve oral health for all Minnesotans. We also provide $400,000 in corporate sponsorships and donations annually.
Our goal is to work hand-in-hand with public and nonprofit organizations to identify and implement solutions that address specific problems. We direct funds to organizations and initiatives that promote overall health through access to oral health education and services through the following priorities:
- Safety Net: increase access to oral health services by optimizing the capacity of the safety net oral health system
- Workforce: improve access by assisting and expanding the oral health workforce and health care team
- Prevention & Education: expand access to effective oral health education and prevention services
