Delta Dental of Minnesota to Open New Operations and Technology Center in Bemidji

Up to 150 new jobs coming to the region

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn – Delta Dental of Minnesota, through its parent Stratacor, is pleased to announce that it will soon break ground on a new operations and technology center in Bemidji.

The center will provide jobs for up to 150 people and employ team members in categories including administrative services, technology and sales. Future job openings may include finance, web support and development.

This expansion is a result of recent and projected membership growth, new product offerings, and development of technology infrastructure allowing Delta Dental of Minnesota to continue providing industry-leading support for our customers and dental partners.

“We are excited to partner with Greater Bemidji on this project to participate in the region’s economic success,” said Rodney Young, Chief Executive Officer and President at Delta Dental of Minnesota. “We look forward to this center bringing expanded capabilities that will enable Delta Dental to continue to meet the changing needs and expectations of our customers, dentists and other oral health partners.”

“We are very excited to welcome Delta Dental of Minnesota to the Bemidji community,” said Gary Johnson, Greater Bemidji Board President and Chief Executive Officer of Paul Bunyan Communications. “We know what a great place Bemidji is to live and do business and are confident they will be a great corporate partner for our area.”

“The City of Bemidji is excited to welcome Delta Dental to Bemidji! We look forward to working with them to facilitate development and make their efforts in Bemidji a success,” said Bemidji Mayor, Rita Albrecht. “Thank you to Greater Bemidji and everyone who has worked on this project to make it a reality. This announcement truly shows our commitment to attracting employers and new residents to Bemidji.”

Pending approval of an award from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, the new operations and technology center is expected to open by the end of 2019 and will make Delta Dental of Minnesota a top ten employer in the city.
