How do I view waiting periods by benefit category?

You will find this information on the "Client Benefit Details" tab within the Benefits section. See the column labeled "Waiting Period."

Where is the Benefit Details tab?

Step 1: Go to the "Benefits" tab in the green left navigation bar on your screen. UA06-Step01 Step 2: On the "Benefits" landing page, enter client data (e.g. "Client ID" and/or "Client name," etc.). UA06-Step02 Step 3: With your client data entered, you should now see a line item for the client associated with the information you entered. This line item will expand when clicked to reveal members or subscribers for that client. UA06-Step03 Step 4: Once your client has been expanded, search for the member ID you are looking for and click the link within that row. UA06-Step04 Step 5: Once you have clicked a link for a specific member ID, you will be taken to that member's benefits page:

  • Within this page, you will see four tabs of content that you may review for this member.
  • The first tab on the left is labeled "Client Benefit Details" and will be the default view when you visit a member's benefits page. UA06-Step05A
  • With the "Client Benefit Details" selected, scroll down and you will see a table with benefits information.
  • The far right column is labeled "Waiting Period." If there is a specific waiting period for any procedure, it will appear in this column. If there is no information listed in this column for a procedure, then there is no waiting period. UA06-Step05B
