Ann provides executive leadership for the Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation’s relationships and funding investments, oversees and coordinates the grant making activities of the Board of Directors’ Philanthropy Committee, and directs Delta Dental of Minnesota’s Community Affairs Department, including community and external relations, oral health education, advocacy and outreach and employee involvement. 

Before joining Delta Dental of Minnesota in 2000, Ann served in various positions within the non-profit, academic and government sector, including ten years as the Assistant Director in the Minnesota Attorney General's Office, Special Projects Division. She currently serves on the board of Minnesota Alliance with Youth. Past board involvement includes the Parks and Trails Council of Minnesota, Ordway Circle of Stars, Recycling Association of Minnesota. She currently serves as co-chair of Smiles Across Minnesota and is involved in an advisory capacity for a variety of health, youth and philanthropy organizations. Ann earned her master's degree in Leadership from Augsburg College and received her bachelor's of science degree in Scientific and Technical Communication, focusing on the health sciences, from the University of Minnesota.

Sharon Oswald is Foundation Program Manager, Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation and Community Affairs Manager of Delta Dental of Minnesota, working to advance the strategic goals of the Foundation and philanthropic priorities through program initiatives. Sharon also develops and implements a variety of community affairs and communications efforts to improve oral health.

Sharon joined Delta Dental of Minnesota in October 2012. Sharon was most recently an Associate Consultant with Halleland Habicht, where she specialized in helping health-related nonprofit organizations adapt and thrive to meet the challenges of health reform and contemporary community needs. Prior to working in health reform, Sharon worked as a Health Impact Manager at Greater Twin Cities United Way, where she managed a $4 million grant-making portfolio to promote preventive health and wellness among underserved communities. Sharon has been a leader in oral health since 2005, when she helped create the Bright Smiles program to address oral health disparities for young children and pregnant women and was a strong advocate in the development of the dental therapy profession in Minnesota.

Before joining Delta Dental of Minnesota in May of 2011, Dana was Grants Program Manager at The Jay and Rose Phillips Family Foundation for six years, and spent the prior 10 years working in the field of family violence prevention. She currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of Neighborhood HealthSource’s board of directors, and is a member of Fraser School’s Program Committee. Dana earned her master's degree in public affairs from The Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and received her bachelor's of arts in political science from the University of Iowa.

Cathy supports the philanthropy program, oral health education and outreach, communication efforts, and employee involvement.

Before joining Delta Dental of Minnesota in 2008, Cathy spent ten years at Northwest Area Foundation, supporting programs which assist communities throughout an eight-state region in reducing poverty and building sustainable prosperity. Prior to that, she spent 15 plus years at Honeywell, Inc. working in Human Resources in the areas of compensation and benefits. Cathy has studied at the University of Minnesota and at Olympic College on the West Coast.
