The Voices of Our Community Delta Dental of Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (February 3, 2022) – Since 1976, Black History Month has been celebrated annually in the United States during the month of February. It recognizes the achievements, accomplishments, and highlights of African Americans who’ve played significant roles in shaping the history of the country.

Delta Dental of Minnesota celebrates Black History Month with an initiative focusing on “The Voices of Our Community.” Each week, a video will be shared showcasing an African American leader in the Twin Cities area, giving you the chance to learn something new about each person, and share it with family and friends to keep the conversation thriving.

First among the voices you will hear is Minneapolis Fire Chief, Bryan Tyner. Later this month, Renay Dossman, the President of the Neighborhood Development Center, and dentist Dr. Rochelle Avent-Hassan, along with other Black owned businesses, will share their stories. Delta Dental of Minnesota’s Kathie Eiland-Madison, Vice President of Human Resources and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will be highlighted as well.
