David B. Morse, President, Delta Dental of Minnesota 

David B. Morse, President of Delta Dental of Minnesota, joined the organization as full-time legal counsel in 1998.

For the 16 years prior to that, he served as Delta Dental of Minnesota’s external legal counsel primarily with the law firm Best and Flanagan, where he was a managing partner and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. 

His experience also includes private law practice in the Minneapolis area, with an emphasis on litigation, and employment with Honeywell as an accountant and pricing analyst in the defense and space business. He was also Chairman of the Board of Aequitron Medical.

In addition to speaking at several DDPA attorney conferences, Morse has presented at World Research Group seminars on dental benefits – speaking on the subject of dental fraud and abuse.

Morse is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law (Juris Doctor, cum laude 1970) and received his Bachelor of Science degree (accounting major, political science minor) from the University of Minnesota in 1965.

Dave has been married to his wife Norma since 1963. They have three children and three grandchildren. His hobbies and leisure activities include Northern Minnesota, his lake home, furniture refinishing and attending his grandchildren’s activities.
