At Delta Dental of Minnesota, we believe in supporting organizations and programs that improve the lives of Minnesotans and the communities they live within. Healthy communities are those that promote the well-being and safety of their citizens. Our goal is to achieve maximum impact through our contributions and involvement.

Focus Areas
Like most companies, we receive many more requests than we can possibly fund. Because our resources are limited, we must focus our choices on how to allocate them. We concentrate our sponsorships and donations to those that improve health, education, and/or improve the lives of children in Minnesota. In addition, our sponsorships are designed to expose our Delta Dental brand to the larger community.

Please read our funding priorities and restrictions to determine if your organization and your project will qualify for consideration. If eligible, see the application information at the bottom of this page to submit a proposal.

Funding Priorities and Restrictions
Applicants must be located in Minnesota or serving Minnesotans. Delta Dental of Minnesota does not provide sponsorship funding or donations for the following:

Individuals
Capital campaigns
Endowments or memorials
Religious groups for religious purposes
Travel expenses
Staff support
Lobbying
Political or fraternal activities
Individual schools or school districts
Door prizes or raffles
Sports events and athletic groups (other than Special Olympics)
School-affiliated orchestras, bands, choirs, drama groups, yearbooks or class parties

Note: Occasionally we may make a funding decision outside of the above guidelines in response to an urgent, timely or significant community need.

Application Process
Requests are typically reviewed on a quarterly basis.

The following information must be included in your letter or e-mail:

Organization name and its mission or purpose
Contact name, address, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail address
Description of program or project for which the donation or sponsorship is being requested
Clearly outline all of the sponsorship/donation benefits that you are offering, including all promotions, press and exposure related opportunities
Provide specific details on measurable results of your event or program
Time frame of the project
Indicate previous support from Delta Dental of Minnesota
