Your Health
Medical: The Company provides two medical plans:
- Comprehensive major medical plan with a $500/employee or $1,000/family annual deductible
- High deductible plan featuring a Health Savings Account, with an annual deductible of $1,600/employee or $3,200/family. With this plan employees may set aside pre-tax dollars in a health savings account (HSA) to pay for eligible medical care expenses.
Dental: A dental plan offers employees the flexibility to choose between two plan options that provide access to two of the largest networks in the state, Delta Dental PPOSM and Delta Dental Premier® networks. To maximize savings and reduce out-of-pocket costs, utilize a Delta Dental network dentist.
Your ProtectionLife Insurance
Eligible employees receive company-paid life insurance that is equal to one time annual salary or $50,000, whichever is greater. In addition, an equal amount of accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) is provided at no charge to the employee.
Additional Life Insurance
Eligible employees may elect additional life insurance coverage from one to four times annual pay at affordable rates.
Dependent Life Insurance
Life Insurance may be purchased for eligible dependents including spouse and child or children.
Disability
The Company provides at no-cost to eligible employees Group Short-Term Disability (STD) coverage. STD provides financial protection by promising to pay a percentage of weekly earnings in the event of a covered disability.
Group Long Term Disability (LTD) coverage is available after Short-Term Disability expires. The cost of the insurance is added to your gross income so that benefits received are federally tax-free under current federal tax law.
Your Future401(k)
The 401(k) plan is an easy way to save for the future. Contributions are tax-deferred meaning that federal income taxes on the money you contribute are pre-tax. The deferrals are taxable when you withdraw it. The Company will match 100% on the first 6% of the deferral. Newly hired employees are automatically enrolled in the plan at a contribution rate of 3%, unless the employee elects to opt out of the plan.
Your Time
Paid Time Off (PTO)
The Paid Time Off program allows employees to take time away from work for a variety of reasons. A few of the reasons include vacation, personal or family illness, medical or dental appointments, severe weather, child care/elder care or personal business. PTO is accrued for eligible employees on a biweekly schedule starting at 5.4 hours for non-exempt (hourly) employees and 6.93 hours for exempt (salaried) employees. PTO will be prorated for part-time employees.
Holidays
The Company observes nine national holidays throughout the year. A Floating Holiday may be granted depending on how the holiday falls on the calendar. Holidays generally include: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Tuition Reimbursement
Employees are eligible for financial assistance for post-secondary education, licensing, technical training, seminars and workshops. After six months of employment, financial assistance is provided to employees who successfully complete training/education programs that are relevant to their work or the general business activity of the Company.
Discount Services
Various discounts for recreational activities, consumer goods, travel, seasonal activities and much more are available to employees and their immediate family.
Banking Services
The Company has special banking relationships with two national banks and a local credit union. Some of the services provided are direct deposit, checking, savings and discounted loans.
